What is Crimstone?

We sell, measure, install and repair custom granite, marble and other stone surfaces. Our most frequent requests are for kitchen and bathroom countertops but the possibilities are endless when it comes to using stone to enhance your home. We offer a vast array of granites, marbles, Caesarstone, Zodiaq, Soapstone and more. Our colors of stone range from very light beige and white to very dark black and almost every color in between. We carry blues and greens and reds that make it hard to believe they were taken out of the earth that way. Our granite and marble comes from all over the world and is customized to your home and your design ideas. We offer a large variety of edge details and finishes to choose from so that your stone can be a statement of your own personality.

Who is Crimstone?

Crimstone is owned by Jaime Crim. Jaime grew up in Winchester, Virginia and became interested in stone at an early age. Jaime’s father, Tom Crim, owned and operated Commonwealth Tile and Marble in Winchester for 30 years until his death in 1984. It was then Jaime decided to carry on the stone business in the Crim name. Jaime went to work at Luckstone in Chantilly where he learned the craft of stonecutting. In 2001, Jaime came to work for “A Touch of Italy” in Clarke County where he not only cut stone but he also installed it. Jaime bought the company in 2002 and continued to operate out of Clarke County. In 2004 Jaime wanted to continue the legacy his father and uncles had started by owning and operating local businesses and he moved his company to Winchester. He changed the name to Crimstone to reflect his family name and their devotion to the community.
 
Crimstone is a former winner of the Best Kitchen award from the Parade of Homes of the Top of Virginia Building Assocation.
